Shinyalu’s Bulovi Senior School re-opens after revamp, MP hands Cheque for first students

Shinyalu Member of Parliament (MP) Fred Ikana has revamped and re-opened Bulovi Senior School in Isukha North which had collapsed due to neglect and handed over a cheque of Ksh. 500, 000 to fully cover school fees for the first 50 students

Additionally, he donated 50kg of maize and 50kg of beans to kick off the school feeding programme

Presiding over the event, he commended residents for their kindness and commitment that has enabled the Isukha community to prioritize education with a vision for prosperity.

The lawmaker emphasized Grade 9 learners who sat for KJSEA exams last year and are still at home to join senior schools announcing that he will pay them school fees.

“Bulovi Senior School will never again collapse because we want the constituency to move forward creating a conducive learning environment for children.” Ikana stated, advising parents to be committed in educating their children for a bright future and also empower the community

The legislator added that as the son of the soil, he promised to reach the constituents and respond to their calls in infrastructure development of many schools improving the education sector.

“Am still young and energetic to run all over the schools ensuring that projects implemented are complete,”he said
