The Brookside Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) National Term One Games 2024 are scheduled to start this morning in Machakos County.
They will take place at Machakos Boys and Machakos Girls schools as more than 2000 students gather to display a thrilling showcase of talent across various sporting categories.
New plan launched in Ruiru to get more young people into golf sport
The event features basketball (5×5), athletics, hockey, cross country, handball, rugby 15’s, and swimming.
It will be a battle of champions at Machakos Boys when heavy weights Kakamega’s Musingu High School, the defending champions, and St Anthony Boys Kitale from Rift Valley regions clash in pool B’s opener.
In other encounters, Meru School will contend with Nairobi School while Ringa Boys will face St Charles Lwanga. Murang’a from Central will tussle with hosts Katangi in another duel.
Brookside Dairy Limited, this year, decided to double its sponsorship of the game to a tune of KSh30 million.
