President Ruto donates bus to Enkasiti Primary in Kitengela

State House Comptroller Katoo Ole Metito delivers school bus donated by president William Ruto to Enkasiti Primary, Junior Secondary School.

President William Ruto has donated a school bus to Enkasiti Primary and Junior Secondary School in Kitengela Ward, Kajiado County.

The bus was delivered to the school by State House Comptroller Katoo Ole Metito who had been requested by the community to reach out for the president for the support.

He said the school is among one of the best performing schools in the region and needed support from the Government. It now becomes the only primary school in the Isinya Sub-county with a school bus.

Katoo who was speaking on Wednesday, April 3 during delivery of the bus said the president is deeply committed to investing in education, since is the cornerstone of societal advancement for future generations.

The State House comptroller said the road connecting the school will also be upgraded to ensure the children access the school without difficulties.

Former Kajiado County Governor David Nkedianye said management of primary schools has improved due to better leadership in the schools, this has increased enrollment of the children in the institutions.

“School performance is related to head teachers and teachers, when these schools are well managed, students’ population increases resulting into good performance as well,” he said.

The Government had increased allocation for the education sector. The country’s expenditure on training, learning and education is the most appropriate investment in development of human capital necessary for economic progress.
