Nyeri candidates get a welcome boost ahead of KNEC exams

Candidates at Nyamachaki primary receive examination supplies.

Candidates from various primary schools in Nyeri Town Constituency have received examination accessories from their MP Duncan Mathenge ahead of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Primary Schools Education Assessment (KPSEA) examinations.

The aim of this initiative is to ease the financial burden on parents and create a conducive learning environment for children.

A total of 4,573 candidates received geometrical sets, rulers and two pencils each, which will assist them during their exams.

While dispatching the gifts, Mathenge emphasized the importance of providing equal opportunity for all to excel in exams.

Nyeri Town Constituency Duncan Maina Mathenge donates geometrical sets, 15cm rulers, and two pencils to KCPE and KPSEA candidates at Ngangarithi primary school.

“Our priority is to ensure that every child has an equal opportunity. By providing these examination supplies, we are not only easing the financial burden on parents but also promoting a level playing field for all candidates,” he said.

The donation amounts to a significant saving of about 400 shillings for each family, a happy relief for most parents who have to struggle to make ends meet.
