The Njiiri Secondary School fraternity has been thrown into mourning after the demise of Principal Njuguna Kabiri.
The late teacher breathed his last on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 after a long struggle with Colon cancer which he was diagnosed in January this year.
The veteran teacher has been a long-serving principal at the institution after he took the mantle at only 39 years of age.
The colleagues as well as the former students mourned the deceased as one of the most decorated Physics teacher, who impacted the lives of many.
“We will remember the fallen principal as one of the most accomplished physics teacher with a track record of producing hundreds of engineers and many other professionals today,” one of the school alumnus, eulogized Kabiri.
Further, they mourned the teacher as a person with empathy who always avoided sending students home over fees arrears.
“His faith in God and his empathy in matters sending students home for school fees helped many to stay in school as parents hustled for school fees. Go well Sir and thanks for being my principal and also supporting me when I became a motivational speaker in schools,” Joe Mwangi eulogised Kabiri on his Facebook page account.
