Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions have been directed to review the July/August 2026 assessment results and report any discrepancies within 21 days following their release.
In a notice dated October 20, 2026, the TVET Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council (TVET CDACC) confirmed that the results had been officially released and were accessible through its online portal.

The council instructed technical training institutes, technical and vocational colleges, private colleges, vocational training centres and universities implementing Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) to verify the results and raise any concerns through the prescribed channels.

Institutions have until the end of the 21-day review period, which commenced on October 21, to submit queries arising from the released results.

The council also warned that candidates whose institutions have outstanding assessment fees will not be able to access their results through the portal until the arrears are fully settled.
The directive places responsibility on institutions to ensure that any errors or discrepancies are identified and reported within the stipulated period to facilitate timely resolution.

TVET CDACC further stated that arrangements for the collection of certificates and results slips would be communicated in due course.

The notice was signed by Chief Executive Officer and Council Secretary Prof Kisu K. Mitaing’e, who urged institutions to comply with the timelines and cooperate with the council to safeguard the integrity of the assessment and certification process.

The results mark a key stage in the assessment process for trainees undertaking technical and vocational programmes, with institutions expected to ensure that candidates’ records are accurate before the certification process proceeds.
