The administration of Kiirua Technical Training Institute has issued an internal directive to all trainers and trainees regarding upcoming examinations and assessments.

A memorandum released from the office of the Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) Champion outlines a mandatory internal Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) verification exercise.

According to the memo, dated October 21, 2026, and stamped and approved on October 23, 2026, the internal verification exercise is scheduled to take place from Monday, November 2, to Friday, November 6, 2026.

The directive specifies that the exercise will run daily from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm in Room X.

The verification will cover all Portfolios of Evidence (PoEs) relating to the upcoming November/December 2026 examination series.

The exercise is mandatory for all candidates registered for the examination series.

Trainers and trainees urged to prepare

The memo, issued by Boniface Mung'ori, the designated CBET Champion, urges both trainers and trainees to finalise preparations for the exercise.

"Both trainers and trainees [must] make sure you organize your files well before that day," the statement reads.

The Principal, Deputy Principal (Administration), Deputy Principal (Academics) and all Academic Heads of Department have been copied into the internal memo to ensure smooth execution and cooperation across the institute.

The notification from Kiirua Technical Training Institute, which operates under the State Department for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, underscores the institution's commitment to academic compliance and thorough preparation for its certification candidates.
