Borabu Teachers Training College (TTC) has issued an administrative memo to trainees in the 2023 cohort who are scheduled to sit retakes in their School-Based Assessment (SBA) and summative examinations.
In a communication dated November 5, 2026, issued by the Office of the Chief Principal and signed by Chief Principal Timothy Atuti Oboso, the affected students are instructed to register for their retakes by December 5, 2026.

The college's timeline follows a review of a circular issued by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) on November 3, 2026.

The early registration deadline is meant to allow timely processing and submission of all required registration documents to KNEC ahead of the council's final deadline on December 15, 2026.
The memo outlines the fees trainees must pay to complete registration: Sh7,200 for KNEC registration, Sh5,000 for practicum and Sh2,000 to cover college logistics. The memo also states that the college has introduced an administrative charge of Sh2,000 on registering students to cover overall logistics during the examination period.
College management said all payments must be made directly into the official institution account. It urged all eligible candidates to adhere strictly to the published dates to secure their registration.
