The Member of Parliament (MP) of Kangundo in Machakos County Fabian Muli has donated school buses to two institutions, ABC Kathithamaa and St. Aquinas Mulingana secondary schools.
Addressing the gathering during the event, Muli assured the community that these buses are entirely funded, alleviating any financial burden on parents.
He expressed his satisfaction in fulfilling his promises and highlighted the buses’ potential to aid the schools in attending various important events.
In addition to the school buses, the legislator also distributed food to primary and secondary schools to support students preparing for national exams.
He further extended his best wishes to the candidates and assured the audience that their requests for educational projects were being considered.
Fidelis Kimeu, a representative of the schools, emphasized their commitment to enhancing educational standards in the sub-county.
Meanwhile, Area Deputy County Commissioner Charles Ojaro urged parents to ensure the safety of their children during the extended holiday period.
He stressed the importance of safeguarding their future by preventing them from engaging in unwholesome activities.
