Maranda begins construction of Ksh 130M multipurpose hall

Nyanza Regional Director of Education Mr. Nelson Sifuna has today led the groundbreaking ceremony of Maranda High School multipurpose hall that will host 3,000 students.

The hall which is funded by the Parents Association funds will be constructed at a cost of Ksh130 million and is expected to be completed within one year.

Mr. Sifuna appreciated the efforts made by the school parents and the School Infrastructure Committee (SIC) for championing the construction of the hall that will help boost education standards of the school.

He challenged other schools to emulate what Maranda has done by improving their infrastructure.
