Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti, while speaking at the Annual Women’s Prayer day at AIC Bomani on Wednesday, said priority will be given to the most needy across the 40 wards.

“This year, I am recruiting 4500 youths into the Machakos Youth Empowerment program. I wish to change the lives of our children,” said Governor Wavinya.

She said the most significant investment was not in water, roads, and infrastructure, but in the future of the youth.

The County Government is currently undertaking sensitisation and awareness campaigns ahead of village-level recruitment, which starts on December 8, 2025.
