KUPPET officials eulogize fallen KNUT official

The Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) led by its Chairman Hon. Omboko Milemba, on Wednesday, visited the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) headquarters to condole with the union following the demise of the late former 1st National Vice Chairman Stanley Mutai.

The Late Mutai passed on last week at Nairobi Hospital after a long struggle with cancer.

Milemba described the deceased as an astute, humbled and vibrant unionist who will be missed by many especially by his colleagues as he was a formidable figure and gave his all in service.

KUPPET Secretary General Akello Misori pledged full support from the union as burial preparations gather steam.

The deceased’s procession left Lee Funeral Home today and a memorial service held at AIC Church, Itoibei, Kericho County where he hails from.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday, September 16 at his home in Itoibei Village.

Mr. Mutai is survived by his wife Jane Mutai and four children. He died aged 61 years.
