Makueni branch Kenya Union of Post-Primary Teachers (KUPPET) Executive Secretary Justus Kimeu has sent a condolence message to the family of the teacher who died alongside her daughter and mother-in-law. Another lady claimed to be a sister-in-law.
Speaking at his office, Kimeu said, “We are deeply saddened by the sudden death of teacher Jackline Musyoki and family, Nguumo girls fraternity and that of St. Mary’s Kinyambu girls fraternity. Our thoughts and prayers are with that family during this trying moment. May their departed souls rest in eternal peace.”
The teacher who was preparing for her wedding was travelling home from Kitui for dowry payment when the road accident happened at Kisayani along Kitui-Kibwezi highway, claiming her life and that of three others on the spot. She was to wed this coming Saturday.

The family even continue mourning more as reality sinks and they change the WhatsApp group description from the deceased’s wedding preparation to Jackline, daughter, mother and sister in law burial preparations.
The teacher, Madam Jackline Musyoki, was a Mathematics and business studies teacher at St. Mary’s Kinyambu and the wife of Moki, of Nguumo Girls Secondary School.
The family was travelling home from Jackline’s dowry payment ceremony in Kitui, held in preparation for her wedding planned for this coming Saturday.
