The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has reminded applicants of the approaching deadlines for ongoing student applications across three major programmes. Candidates seeking admission to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) courses must submit their applications by 18 March 2026. For the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), the deadline is 13 March 2026, while applications for the Diploma in Law (Paralegal Studies) at the Kenya School of Law will close on 9 March 2026.

The placement exercise, conducted through the KUCCPS student portal, is open to Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) holders interested in certificate and diploma programmes. KUCCPS reopened the system in February 2026, offering a renewed opportunity to candidates who missed out during the January 2026 placement or were not successfully placed.

For KMTC, the March 2026 intake specifically targets KCSE holders who have yet to secure a slot, including those who applied earlier but did not succeed. Applicants are advised to review the list of available diploma and certificate programmes, confirm minimum entry grades, and select their preferred campuses before submitting their applications.

At the Kenya School of Law, KUCCPS is inviting applications for the Diploma in Law (Paralegal Studies), scheduled for the May 2026 intake. The programme is designed to provide structured paralegal training and equip learners with practical skills to support lawyers, courts, law firms, and corporate legal departments. Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements of a C (Plain) in KCSE and a C+ (Plus) in English or Kiswahili to qualify.
