The guide, compiled using information from KUCCPS programme listings, university websites and verified institutional sources, links every CBE senior school subject to the corresponding Bachelor of Education degree offered by universities across the country.
It is intended for KCSE graduates from 2020 to 2025 who aspire to pursue teaching careers in the new curriculum.
The publication outlines programmes in specialized learning areas including Building and Construction, Electricity, Aviation, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Media Technology, Marine and Fisheries Technology, Theatre and Film, Wood Technology, Power Mechanics, Music and Dance, Physical Education and Home Science.

According to the guide, prospective teachers should enrol in degree programmes that align with the specific senior school subjects they intend to teach.
