Koitaleel Samoei University College continues to register remarkable progress in strengthening its physical and academic infrastructure, with visible milestones taking shape at the Nandi Hills Main Campus.
A group of students led by Current KSUSA student leadership toured the ongoing development project, witnessing first-hand the scale and impact of the transformation underway.
“This project is a game-changer for our university,” said one student leader during the tour. “It symbolises growth, better service delivery, and a stronger academic environment for all of us.”
The Principal, Winston Akala, joined the team during the inspection, underscoring the institution’s commitment to transparent leadership and inclusive growth.
“We want our students to be part of this journey,” said Prof. Akala. “Development is not just about buildings; it is about creating an enabling environment that supports academic excellence and institutional efficiency.”
He noted that the new complex will significantly improve coordination of academic and administrative functions, positioning the university college to better serve its growing student population.
Students Witness Major University Transformation
In tandem with the physical expansion, the institution has also recorded notable academic progress, with additional programmes approved by the Commission for University Education.
“The approval of new programmes is a clear demonstration of the confidence the regulator has in our academic standards,” Prof. Akala stated. “We are steadily building a university that meets both national and global expectations.”
University officials say the dual focus on infrastructure and academic growth reflects a clear and strategic vision for the future of higher education in the region.
“With these developments, we are not only expanding our facilities but also broadening opportunities for students across Nandi and beyond,” a member of the management team said.
Together, the milestones mark an impressive growth trajectory for the institution, signalling a transformative chapter for higher education at Nandi Hills.

The modern complex under construction is set to host the main campus offices of the Vice Chancellor, the Council, and the Academic Board, as well as key administrative offices, lecture halls, and other essential amenities aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the smooth running of the institution.
