The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has officially opened registration for the November 2026 Business and Technical examinations, requiring all candidates to register online through the council’s registration portal.

The exercise targets institutional candidates sitting Business single and group subjects for the November examination series, which is scheduled to run from November 16 to December 4, 2026.

KNEC has directed all institutions and candidates to register through its official online portal, emphasising that manual applications will not be accepted.

The opening of the registration exercise allows candidates to formally confirm their eligibility to sit the national examinations. Registration is a mandatory requirement for the issuance of examination timetables and eligibility to take the tests later this year.

For training institutions, the registration period also marks the start of key administrative processes, including verification of candidate details, submission of Course Work Assessment (CWA) and project marks, as well as preparations for practical examinations.
