KMTC Kitutu Chache earmarked for further funding by NGCDF

Kitutu Chache South MP Anthoney Kibagendi.

Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Kitutu Chache South has been earmarked for further funding by NGCDF in the current financial year, area MP Anthoney Kibagendi has said.

Speaking at the institution today, the MP said the government is committed to training more nurses who can secure global employment in the medical field.

He underscored the importance of secondary school students embracing science subjects to enable them to acquire grades that place them in the medical field, assuring students and tutors that his office will walk the extra mile to facilitate the smooth running of the institution.

The MP told learners to thirst for knowledge by upgrading their credentials from certificate to Diploma and eventually Degree because higher qualifications are more acceptable in the job market.

He asked the youth to remain disciplined by shunning drugs and substances which have ruined the lives of many youth.

Noting that nursing, like teaching, is a noble profession, Kibagendi asked the trainees to live exemplary lives in order to attract confidence from the public and their sisters and brothers who aspire to join the medical career.
