Kisii School principal tips parents on how to relate with their children during long holiday

Kisii School Chief Principal Fred Mogaka has urged parents to take good care of their children during the long December holiday, making sure their needs are fully taken care off to avoid.

The Principal reminded them to be near their children especially the form four candidates who are in the process of finishing their examinations as from tomorrow..

“Be ready to receive them and accept them in the way they are and assist them as they harness their emotions to adjust and cope with home environment.” He said

Speaking on Wednesday at Nyansakia village in Bomachoge Chache Constituency when he led the area teaching fraternity to mourn the child of one of his teaching staff members, Mogaka said that most of the learners are still young although they have sat for their KCSE examinations, the urging the parents not to assume that they are adults and leave them unguarded.

He informed parents in advance about some negative traits like oversleeping, nagging and sudden changes of moods that the learners might show, but urged them to be tolerance , as many are still struggling with the critical transition stages of life from teenage to childhood.

“If they become too tough to harness please call us we help to talk to them because they are still ours even when they are out of school.” He said.
