St. Luke’s Ekware Principal Mark Nyakora has died. The principal passed on at a private hospital in Kisii town following a short illness on Friday.
Family members confirmed his death.

Learning about his passing on, principals halted their annual Secondary Schools Heads meeting and went to his home and school in Nyaribari Masaba Constituency to condole the family and his staff.
One of the principals, Ben Ogeri, said that the death of the principal had left a significant void in the leadership of the school but also in the hearts his staff students and parents.
He said the late principal was an exceptional leader whose dedication and passion for education was evident through his actions.

“His commitment in the creation of enabling environment for students and their guidance towards excellence was unfathomable,” he said.
Many principals in Kisii and beyond condoled with the family, wishing them God’s grace and comfort at this period of grief.
