Kisii school anticipate a facelift after fundraising

The parents of Nyaura Primary School in Kisii County have expressed great hope of transforming the school into a modern learning institution after a planned fundraiser.

Led by area chief Mr. Yabesh Moenga, the residents confirmed that plans for the main fundraiser that is scheduled for 5th December were at advanced stages.

He revealed that the fund raiser was being spearheaded by the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Health Mrs. Susan Mochache.

“She mobilized the alumni of the school who agreed to give our school a face lift,” he said .

The chief said that the school’s alumni in Nairobi had already raised Sh20,000,000 in anticipation to boost the fundraiser.

He appealed to all residents and other relatives of good will to attend the meeting to assist the school.

He asked politicians of all walks to avoid their party affiliations and attend the meeting peacefully.

The CS for Interior Ministry Dr. Fred Okeng’o Matiang’i, will lead other government dignitaries who will grace the occasion.
