Kericho Governor sends condolences to Kipsigis Girls after teacher passes on

Governor Dr. Erick Mutai of Kericho County has conveyed his condolences following the sudden and regrettable passing of Sylvia Ngetich, the former Deputy Principal Academics at Kipsigis Girls High School.

According to his Facebook post yesterday, Governor Mutai acknowledged Sylvia’s distinguished role as an educationalist, noting her significant contributions as a respected school administrator in the South Rift region and nationally.

“I extended my heartfelt sympathies to the teachers and students of Kipsigis Girls, particularly the Form Fours who are now faced with the loss while in the midst of their KCSE examinations,” the post read.

Dr. Mutai offered prayers for God’s grace to provide strength and fortitude to Sylvia Ngetich’s family and friends during this challenging period.

Additionally, the governor extended condolences to the communities of Brooke and Momoniat in Chepseon, acknowledging their shared sorrow.

In his statement, Dr. Mutai paid tribute to Sylvia Ngetich’s legacy in education and expressed the hope that she may rest in eternal peace.
