KCA University held its 20th graduation ceremony on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the graduation square at its main campus in Ruaraka, Nairobi County, marking the official conferment of degrees and diplomas to the Class of July 2026.

The ceremony brought together graduands, university leadership, family members and invited guests for what is typically one of the university’s most significant annual events.

Ambassador Kang Hyung-shik of the Republic of Korea served as chief guest. He urged graduates to embrace lifelong learning, purposeful leadership and the courage to shape the future.

“Learn, because the world will never stop changing. Lead, because your communities are waiting for your voice. Transform, because the future belongs to those who have the courage to build it,” Kang said.

During his visit, Kang also officially commissioned the KCA University Korean Language Centre, a moment the university described as reaffirming its commitment to internationalization.

KCA University Chancellor Dr. Martin Oduor challenged the graduating class to pursue purpose beyond employment.

“Do not be content with merely securing a job. Go out and transform your workplaces. Create opportunities for others. Solve real problems through innovation and let purpose, not comfort, guide your career. That is how you build a legacy of lasting impact,” Oduor said.

Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer Prof. Isaiah Wakindiki told the graduates that their education was not complete but was the beginning of a lifelong journey of learning and leadership.

“As a soil scientist, I see education much like preparing fertile ground. KCA University has enriched your minds and anchored your roots. Now go out and become the harvest that transforms communities through innovation, integrity and lifelong learning,” Wakindiki said.

The ceremony drew graduands from across KCA University’s schools, including the School of Business, Technology, Education, Arts and Social Sciences, and the Professional and Technical Training Institute.
