Kenyans have taken to social media to shower praises at a Kapsabet Boys High School Form One student who joined the institution today, May 4 with both his parents clad in traditional regalia.
It is reported that the student who goes by the name, Fred Ekiru Amurio, sat his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) from Lokwii Primary School in Turkana County where he scored 403 marks.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Amurio Lokitoe looked elated as the boy got admitted to the school of his choice.

The Kenyans online, preferably called Netizens, were left in awe after photos of the Form One boy emerged with his parents posing for photographs after he was admitted to the school.
“That is awesome! Congratulations! May God see this boy through school and future prosperity,” said Mary Karimi.
“It is the confidence in the young man for me. And the believe in the mission by the people standing beside him… then there is just something about that photo. Just something original. Something we cannot easily tell but evokes feelings of pride. Miles away. Best wishes from Savannah,” added another Facebook Netizen, Amkich Karanja as he heaped praises about the family’s courage.
“This young man represents hope and the future, of his family, clan from deep crevices of Turkana county. Education is the equaliser of men. Pray for his success in life,” said Omwanza Ombati on Twitter.
Others went ahead to encourage him: “Heartwarming! Kapsabet boys receives another A student material, all the way from Turkana County. Break that glass ceiling son, make your parents proud. You are halfway there,” posed Lil Koima on Twitter.
It is also reported that the family was pleading to well-wishers just two days ago to help them raise Sh45,000 to cater for the boy’s school fees at the institution as they had lost the boy’s elder brother and heards of animals which were the source of their livelihood through cattle rustling earlier this year.
The boy aspires to be a Neurosurgeon in the future.
