Kapsabet Boys High School will host the 2026 Annual National Mathematics Workshop on Sartuday February 14, 2026, bringing together mathematics teachers from across the country for professional development and curriculum engagement.
The workshop, to be held at the school’s main campus, aims to equip teachers with updated knowledge and practical teaching strategies aligned with Kenya’s evolving education system.
According to the organizers, the forum will address emerging issues in the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examinations, Competency-Based Education teaching methods in mathematics, the assessment structure for Grade 10 and the integration of the competency-based timetable within the existing curriculum.
The organizers said the event will provide a platform for professional collaboration and exchange of ideas among mathematics educators, helping teachers adapt to curriculum changes and improve classroom delivery.

Participants will pay a facilitation fee of Ksh 3,000, which covers stationery, lunch and certification.
The workshop is expected to attract mathematics teachers from different regions seeking guidance on curriculum implementation and assessment standards.
The annual workshop continues to grow in prominence as the country strengthens efforts to improve mathematics education and support teachers in the transition to the Competency-Based Education system.
