The Kakamega Central Championship—2025 football tournament kicks off this Saturday. Over 20 secondary schools battled for glory under the Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) banner.
Held across three pitches—Rugby, Mabao, and Bukhulunya—the event showcases the region’s rising football talent and school spirit.
The championship has attracted a rich lineup of teams grouped into four pools:

Each pool—A through D—will see intense round-robin matchups over two days.
