Kaimosi Friends Poly honours TVET fair achievers during institutional prayer day

  • Kaimosi Friends Poly held an institutional prayer day that culminated in the recognition and awarding of trainees and departments that excelled during the recent TVET Fair.
  • The recognition follows the institution’s impressive performance at KATTI Western Region TVET Fair held in May, which brought together TVET institutions from across the region to showcase innovations, practical skills and technological creativity.

Kaimosi Friends Polytechnic held an institutional prayer day that culminated in the recognition and awarding of trainees and departments that excelled during the recent Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Fair.

According to a statement shared on the institution’s social media platforms, the prayer day was dedicated to seeking God’s guidance, wisdom and blessings for the institution, its staff, trainees and stakeholders.

The event brought together the institution’s leadership, staff and students in a show of unity and commitment to academic excellence, innovation and spiritual growth.

“The day culminated in a moment of celebration and recognition as the institution appreciated and awarded trainees and departments that actively participated in the recent TVET Fair.

Their commitment, innovation, teamwork and outstanding representation of the Polytechnic were acknowledged and commended,” the statement read in part.

The recognition follows the institution’s impressive performance at the Kenya Association of Technical Training Institutes (KATTI) Western Region TVET Fair held in May, which brought together TVET institutions from across the region to showcase innovations, practical skills and technological creativity.

Kaimosi Friends National Polytechnic trainees excelled in several competition categories, earning qualification for the National TVET Fair.

Among the areas where the institution recorded outstanding performance were fashion technology skills and innovation, applied science innovation and food technology innovation.

The management praised the trainees and participating departments for their dedication and urged them to maintain the momentum as they prepare to represent the institution at the national level.
