Tendere location Chief Josephine Onduso has asked parents to check on their children regularly when they are in and out of school.
“Let parents coordinate well with teachers in order to know welfare of their children,” she said.
The Chief was reacting after learning about the disappearance of a Grade 8 learner at Excel Elementary School in Nyamache Sub-county.

According to the school administration, Brian Orina went missing from school on Saturday evening, May 18 after church services and informed his grandmother in the following morning.
His grandmother Josephine Orina of Omoringamu village near Ogembo town said that the boy did not report at home.
She reported at Ogembo Police Station and are assisting in the search.
The worried mother and the school administration appealed to anybody who might see the boy to report at or any near police station.
