Lurambi constituency through the Constituency Development Funds (CDF) has made a complete makeover of Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Kakamega branch.
Area MP Titus Khamala said the government has allocated Kshs 2.5 million for the construction of lecture halls and Kshs 5 million for purchase of equipment for a better learning environment.
Khamala recently assisted a form four leaver join KMTC. Khamala appealed to those who study medicine to register for CDF funds adding that the government will fully support them
Kakamega County Health CS Collins Matemba said that the CDF funds will assist in infrastructure development, renovations and fees payment.
Five needy students have been identified for financial support in the 2021/2011 financial year.
The KMTC appealed the government to help in the construction of a new administration block.
