Good news for learners as West Pokot Governor launches children’s ward

West Pokot County Governor has commissioned a modern Paediatric Ward at Kabichbich Sub-county,  that would serve the residents of the area and its environs.

Speaking during the launch, the governor stated that the hospital had met all the stipulated engineering specifications and was fit for use.

According to his plan, the hospital would resolve medical challenges affecting infants, children and young people and would therefore ensure that school going children are unreservedly attended to.

He added that the hospital would additionally take care of children with physical disability, developmental, social or behavioural issues.

According to the latest statistics, there are about 600 Paediatric Ward experts in Kenya handling both private and public institutions.
