Faulu Bank is carrying out a Covid-19 sensitisation campaign in schools, including donation of face masks to learners.
It intends to use Sh10 million to distribute face masks in 150 schools in all the counties.
Ten schools in Kajiado County will receive reusable masks, according to Managing Director Apollo Njoroge.
Speaking during the launch of the campaign in Kajiado recently, Njoroge emphasised the need to observe Covid-19 protocols in order to flatten the curve.
“We have embarked on a Covid-19 sensitisation campaign over the next three months to emphasise the importance of following laid down protocols to avoid the spread of infection among pupils,” he said.
Kajiado Deputy Governor Martin Moshisho urged residents to wear face masks properly, wash hands frequently and maintain social distance.
“The disease is still here with us,” said Moshisho.
