Peter Ewaat Long’oli retained the Turkana Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) Executive Secretary seat in the just concluded county elections.
He recaptured the top position after his long time competitor Moses Ekidor declined pulled out of the contest and promised to work with Ewaat’s team.
Ewaat said they will visit teachers in all the seven sub counties to both members and non-members, with the aim of improving performance in schools.
“I want to call on all the teachers in the county to work towards improving performance in our schools,” said Ewaat.
