The Eldoret National Polytechnic (TENP) has been officially recognized as the best Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution in the recently concluded Kenya Music Festivals held in Meru.
The Institution received a prestigious trophy from President William Samoei Ruto during a ceremony held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Sagana State Lodge.
The award celebrates TENP’s exceptional performance across more than 40 competitive items, underscoring its commitment to holistic education and the nurturing of co-curricular talent.

A proud delegation led by Chief Principal Dr. Charles Koech, Deputy Principal (Administration) Paul Seurey, and Dean of Students Reuben Chemitei, was present to receive the award. They were joined by the Sports and Recreation Officer, Music Patrons, TENPSU Leadership, and Music Trainee Leaders, reflecting the institution’s collaborative spirit and strong support for student development.
TENP’s success at the national festival highlights its dedication to excellence beyond academics, positioning the polytechnic as a leader in talent development and student empowerment within the TVET sector.
