Education officer calls for enrolment of students who drop out of school

Malindi sub county Acting Adult Education Officer has advised parents in the area to enroll their children who dropped out of school in standard five and form one in literacy centers so as to sit for KCPE and KCSE examinations in due time.

Mr. Moses Uled Mbaruku also disclosed that the county’s rapid development needed educated people who would be charged with the responsibility of designing, planning and implementing community development projects.

Mr. Mbaruku further asked teachers to encourage their learners to study harder in order to excel in their KCPE and KCSE examinations.

He said that it was the only way one would excel in national examinations adding that there were no short cuts in the developing world.

At the same time, he urged all adult education stakeholders to co-operate fully to make adult education program a success in the region.

The best 2021 Kenya Certificate for Secondary Education (KCSE) adult candidate from Malindi scored a mean grade of C minus.
