Coast Regional Education Coordinator Abdikadir Kike has assured parents and other education stakeholders that both primary and secondary schools in the region will post impressive results in this year’s national examinations.
Speaking to Education News in his office in Mombasa town recently Kike said the Government has already strategised plans on how to improve national examinations performance in the area.
He said that education officials and stakeholders in the region have met right from county, sub county, divisional and zonal levels to discuss ways and means of improving both academic standards and national examinations performance in the region.
The Co-ordinator disclosed that the 2017 KCPE and KCSE results in the region have already been reviewed and what remained now was to settle down to serious quality teaching.
“You were duty bound in covering the syllabus early enough to pave way for thorough revision in all the subjects”, Kike told teachers.
