The Commission for University Education has announced 45 vacancies, including senior executive and permanent positions, with applications set to close on June 2, 2026.

The Commission for University Education (CUE) has announced that it is seeking to recruit individuals to fill 45 vacancies.

The move, aimed at upholding the Commission’s mandate under the Universities Act Cap 210, offers a mix of high-level executive contracts and dozens of permanent and pensionable career opportunities.

The Commission is headhunting for three senior executive roles to be held on five-year fixed-term contracts. These “CUE Grade 2 and 3” positions include the Corporation Secretary and Director of Legal Services, the Director of Internal Audit and Risk Assurance, and the Deputy Director of Corporate Communication and Public Relations.

Beyond the positions under fixed-term contracts, CUE is offering 42 permanent and pensionable positions across 27 job titles. The offered positions range from technical roles, such as three Quality Assurance Officers and two Senior Programme Accreditation Officers, to essential support staff such as three drivers and two office assistants.

Interested candidates are required to apply online through the career portals accessible on the official CUE website at www.cue.or.ke. The Commission has stated that hard-copy applications submitted will not be considered. The deadline for submission of applications is June 2, 2026.
