Kitui County Governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu has announced that her government has set aside a total of 180 million shillings during the current financial year to educate the students in all the county’s 40 wards.
“No child in the county will stay at home because of lack of fees when I am the governor. We are going to share with parents to educate these children,” the governor said.
She spoke recently during the handing over of scholarships to Form One by the Cooperative Bank of Kenya at the Kitui Agricultural Training Centre.
