Bungoma National Polytechnic has issued an official communication adjusting the date of its inaugural graduation ceremony, marking a significant update for thousands of expectant graduands and invited guests.
In a notice dated November 24, 2025, the Office of the Registrar Academics announced that the ceremony initially scheduled for Friday, December 5, 2025 will now take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM at the institution’s grounds.
Despite the shift, the programme remains unchanged, with Principal Secretary for TVET, Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria, confirmed as the Chief Guest. Her attendance is expected to lend weight and national visibility to what will be a defining moment in the institution’s history.

Registrar Academics Risper Juma, signing on behalf of the Chief Principal, called on all graduands and stakeholders to “take note of the new date and adjust their plans accordingly.” The circular, stamped and approved for immediate circulation, underlines the administration’s commitment to orderly and timely preparations.
The notice has also been copied to Academic Heads of Departments and the Dean of Students, signalling a Coordinated institutional push as Bungoma National Polytechnic gears up for its first-ever graduation,an event poised to cement its rising profile as an ISO 9001:2015 certified centre of technical excellence.
As the countdown to December 9 begins, excitement continues to grow within the institution, with the upcoming ceremony set to mark a historic chapter in Bungoma National Polytechnic’s journey of academic transformation.
