Brightkick Academy maintained their perfect start to the FKF Siaya U15 League with a convincing 2-0 victory over Ragak United in a match played at Karapul Comprehensive School.
The league leaders produced another disciplined performance as Wesley Chavera opened the scoring before captain Fidel Otieno added the second goal to seal the win.
The result handed Brightkick their fourth straight victory of the season, extending their unbeaten run and strengthening their grip at the top of the standings.
Brightkick now sit on 12 points from four matches, having scored 12 goals without conceding a single goal.
Their impressive defensive record and attacking prowess have made them the standout team in the competition so far.
Omondi appeals for financial support
Speaking after the match, Academy Director Joseph Omondi commended the players for their commitment, discipline and teamwork, saying the young footballers have continued to improve with every match.
“Our players showed great character and determination. They are working hard in training and are committed to achieving their goals. We are proud of what they have accomplished so far,” said Omondi.
However, Omondi revealed that the academy is facing financial challenges that threaten its operations and ability to provide opportunities for young players.
He appealed to well-wishers, corporate sponsors, community leaders and other stakeholders to support the academy financially, noting that such assistance would enable Brightkick Academy to continue identifying, nurturing and developing football talent among the youth.
“We are doing our best to give these children a platform to showcase their talent, but financial constraints remain a major challenge. We appeal to well-wishers and sponsors to partner with us so that we can continue mentoring and nurturing talented young players who have the potential to represent Siaya County and Kenya in the future,” Omondi added.

Brightkick Academy now enjoy a three-point lead over second-placed Kababa Academy, while Ragak United remain third on six points after suffering their second defeat of the campaign.
With confidence growing in the camp, Brightkick will be aiming to maintain their flawless record as the FKF Siaya U15 League continues.
