Sangak Primary School, located in Pokot Central Sub-County, is a multi-million shilling project aimed at providing quality education and fostering peaceful coexistence among communities living along the West Pokot and Turkana borders.
The area has been facing historical challenges related to insecurity and limited access to educational resources, health, and sanitation, all of which could easily be addressed by creating adequate education opportunities.
The school is designed to accommodate 800 learners from ECDE, Primary, and Junior schools. It features boarding facilities to ensure maximum interaction between different ethnic communities.
