A US-based Kenyan educationist and motivational speaker Dr Vincent Kituku has donated free school uniforms to all grade 7-9 learners at Kangundo AIC Primary School in Machakos County.
Over 180 boys and girls in Junior Secondary School (JSS) were given free school uniforms, shirts, ties and socks at the school grounds on Sunday January 12, 2024.
The outreach which was tagged “Cloth a child and secure the future”, featured motivational talk, advice and gift presentation.

“Like we all know that providing education to a child is a crucial step in securing the future,” he said.
He also encouraged the students to study hard to attain great heights in the future.
He said the significance of the programme is to give back to the society and cater for the needs of others saying that the new uniforms will encourage and motivate theleaners to perform better in their academics.
In her remarks, the school head teacher Ann Mutheu, expressed gratitude to the organisation for the gesture.
“The new uniforms donated will go a long way in helping their learning. I want others to emulate this gesture in assisting schools because the government cannot do it alone,” she said.
