Bomet University fraternity on Monday gathered to honour and remember the late Charles Langat, a driver whose dedicated service left a lasting mark on the institution.
The university held a solemn requiem service attended by members of the university community, family members, friends and colleagues who came together to celebrate Langat’s life and offer support to his bereaved family.
The service provided an opportunity for those who worked alongside Langat to reflect on his contribution to the university and the relationships he built during his time as a member of staff.
Langat was remembered as a committed and dependable employee who carried out his duties with dedication.
His colleagues described his service to the university as valuable, while his presence within the institution earned him the respect and affection of those he interacted with.
The gathering also allowed the university community to stand with Langat’s family during a difficult period, with speakers highlighting the importance of unity and support as they come to terms with his death.
