It’s now official that Agoro Sare will be representing Nyanza Region in the forthcoming national Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSA) games in Kakamega Next Month.

While in an interview with Education News over the phone today, Nyanza Regional Education Director Nelson Sifuna said the appeal which was presented by Kisumu Day had no sufficient evidence thus rendered null and void.

“It is true Kisumu Day appealed concerning a student who played for Agoro Sare and we gave them all the time to give evidence and from the records the student was initially at Usenge High School not even Dagoretti as it was claimed,

“He was admitted at Agoro Sare in September last year and as a result he is a bona fide student of the institution.

Hence the jury has dismissed the appeal and therefore Agorosare proceeds to represent Nyanza Region in the forthcoming national games,” Mr. Sifuna said.

Agorosare Principal Titus Okeyo said the school will compete ferociously at the event and bring home the requisite victory as solidified perennial winners not only in co-curricular activities but also in academics.

“Agoro Sare is an institution that is well known to produce all-round students. I can assure you that we have embarked on serious preparations and our aim is to participate in the East Africa Regional games,” Okeyo said in an interview.

Agoro Sare will be playing with the likes of,  Shandarema School the winners from Western Region, Solidarity Boys from Rift Valley Region, Dagoretti School from Nairobi as well as Serani School representing the Coast region.

In Eastern Region, Matiliku High will be there, Kirangari High from Central Region and lastly Bute Secondary from North Eastern Region.
