A teacher from Kisumu critically injured in Sondu ethnic clashes

A teacher at Again Secondary School Kevin Bondo in Nyakach, Kisumu is currently fighting for his life, having become a victim of the ongoing ethnic clashes in the Sondu area.

The Sub County Deputy Commissioner, Darwin Orina, confirmed the incident saying that the teacher sustained severe injuries during the recent violence.

According to Orina, the teacher was present at Ked, along with other local residents when the violence erupted.

Bondo is currently receiving treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu after undergoing surgery.

During a recent visit to Kisumu, President Ruto issued a stern warning to those responsible for the violence.
