A.I.C Kipkeikei Boys Senior School in Trans Nzoia County has once again sounded a bold warning to its rivals: the champions are ready. As the East African lawn tennis titleholders since 2018, the school is brimming with confidence and purpose as it prepares to defend a crown it has guarded with pride, discipline, and consistency for close to a decade.
Speaking ahead of the forthcoming championships, Chief Principal Justus Mosiria said the school is fully prepared to face any opponent in its quest to retain the prestigious trophy. He noted that Kipkeikei’s success is not accidental but the result of years of deliberate investment in talent development, rigorous training, and a culture that values excellence both on and off the court.
“Our boys understand what it means to wear this badge,” Mosiria said. “We respect our opponents, but we fear none. Since 2018, Kipkeikei has set the standard in lawn tennis, and we are ready to defend it once again.”
The school’s tennis dominance has made it a household name in school sports across the region. Over the years, Kipkeikei has produced technically gifted players whose calm composure, tactical awareness, and mental strength have overwhelmed opponents at both national and regional levels. Each season, the pressure grows—but so does the hunger.
