- Public urged to share information that could help locate him
A family in Ongata Rongai is appealing for help to trace 20-year-old John Midigo, who has been missing since September 14, 2026.
Midigo, who is autistic, was last seen around the Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE) area in Kasarani. His family says he may require patience and gentle communication if found.
He is a student at Orione School in Ongata Rongai, where he is known by members of the school community.
At the time he went missing, Midigo was wearing blue jeans and a sweater.
His family is now appealing to members of the public, particularly residents of Kasarani, Ongata Rongai and surrounding areas, to remain alert and provide any information that could help establish his whereabouts.
Anyone who comes across Midigo has been urged to approach him calmly and gently, then contact his family immediately.
The family can be reached on 0718 383 939 or 0733 481 840.
They have also appealed to the public to share the missing-person alert widely, saying any information could help reunite Midigo with his family.
