The North Eastern National Polytechnic has hosted a Public Service Commission (PSC) capacity-building workshop that brought together senior county officials from Mandera, Wajir and Garissa.
The workshop was attended by county speakers, chairs of Public Service Boards, members of County Assembly Boards, chief officers, directors of human resources and county secretaries. The training provided an opportunity for the officials to strengthen their understanding of public service management and the roles of county boards in the delivery of services.

The polytechnic said hosting the workshop was part of its growing role in providing training and capacity-building opportunities for public institutions in the region. The institution has also expressed its readiness to host more high-level training programmes for government ministries, departments, agencies and other public organisations.
The event is scheduled to run from September 15 to September 17, concurrently with other regional workshops. The North Eastern National Polytechnic urged government institutions looking for venues for capacity-building programmes to consider the institution.
