- Bukedea Comprehensive School have been dismissed from the FEASSSA volleyball competition after being found ineligible, despite having already secured a semifinal spot.
- Chesamisi Boys High School have been reinstated into the semifinals and will now face Uganda’s Namugongo, while Chepsaita take on Rwanda’s Nyanza.
- The ruling guarantees Kenya a place in the boys’ volleyball final, with either Chesamisi or Chepsaita set to advance.
Kenya’s Chesamisi Boys High School have earned a dramatic route back into the FEASSSA Games boys’ volleyball semifinals in Morogoro, Tanzania, after Uganda’s Bukedea Comprehensive School were dismissed from the competition on eligibility grounds.
Bukedea had already booked their place in the last four following a strong run through the tournament that included a 3-1 victory over Chesamisi. That result has now been overturned after organisers found Bukedea ineligible to continue in the competition, reshaping the semifinal line-up in Kenya’s favour.

Chesamisi will take Bukedea’s place and face Uganda’s Namugongo in the first semifinal, while Kenya’s Chepsaita are set to meet Rwanda’s Nyanza in the other last-four fixture.
For Bukedea, a campaign built on strong on-court performances has instead ended at the administrators’ table, while Chesamisi have been handed a lifeline after appearing to have already been knocked out of contention on the court.
The ruling also guarantees Kenya a place in the boys’ volleyball final, with either Chesamisi or Chepsaita set to progress from the semifinals into the championship match.
