Kaimosi Friends University is set to bring together researchers, academics, innovators, industry players, students and community representatives for its inaugural Annual International Conference and Innovation Week in October.
The three-day event, scheduled for October 21–23, 2026, will provide a platform for participants to exchange knowledge, showcase innovations and explore practical solutions to emerging socio-economic challenges.
The conference will be held under the theme, “Science, Innovation and Digital Transformation for Sustainable Socio-Economic Development.”
Organisers say the conference is designed to respond to the growing need for rigorous research, bold innovation and transformative ideas capable of addressing challenges facing communities and economies.
The event will also create opportunities for researchers and innovators to engage with industry players and communities, strengthening the link between academic knowledge, technological advancement and real-world development.
Among the key areas expected to take centre stage are scientific research, technological innovation and digital transformation, with participants expected to share findings, ideas and solutions that can contribute to sustainable development.
The university said the conference will adopt a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend physically at the Kaimosi campus or participate virtually from different parts of the world.
Platform for emerging researchers
The inaugural conference and innovation week is expected to position Kaimosi Friends University as a platform for research, innovation and knowledge exchange while providing students and emerging researchers with an opportunity to interact with experts and innovators.
