The landmark triumph marks what the school describes as the first victory of its kind for Nyanza since 1928, bringing an end to a long-standing jinx in the highly competitive category.

“The students have sacrificed a lot in preparation for this festival. Our teachers have also worked tirelessly to sharpen their skills and ensure that they were ready for the national stage. This trophy is a reward for that collective effort,” he said.
